Painting from life is both a practice and a calling—capturing the fleeting and the timeless with equal devotion. When not at the easel, you can find me in the mountains of Alaska or in my home town of Anchorage performing jazz/funk fusion with my band, The Work Shoes. This site is a living catalog: a record of finished works, processes, and the drawings that hold them together.
